Bovine smuggling bid foiled

KATHUA, Mar 7: In continuation to strict measures to thwart conspiracies of bovine smugglers, a team of Police Station Rajbagh succeeded in foiling bovine smuggling bid and rescued three bovine animals, seized one tempo and arrested its driver.
A team of PS Rajbagh while on naka checking at Rajbagh stopped a tempo bearing Registration No. PB06N 2894 which was coming from Punjab towards Jammu. During checking of the vehicle three bovine animals were found loaded in the vehicle. Driver of the vehicle Vikramjeet, son of  Anwar of Dera Baba Nana Gurdaspur was arrested by the Police team.
A case has been registered at P S Rajbagh U/S 188, IPC 3/5 PCA Act and further investigation is going on.
