JAMMU, July 3: Chowki Choura Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, a team from Chowki Choura Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK03E-3951.
During checking, police team rescued 15 bovine animals from the vehicle while the accused smugglers managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 175/21 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Chowki Choura Inspector Ankuj Bhagat foiled the bid under the supervision of SHO Akhnoor Inspector Hilal Azhar and SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial.
