JAMMU, Sept 3: Akhnoor Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Akhnoor led by SHO Hilal Azhar laid a naka and intercepted a Mahindra Bolera pick up vehicle.
During checking, police team rescued four bovine animals and seized the vehicle, while the accused smuggler(s) managed to escape from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
A case FIR Number 220/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
