JAMMU, Oct 1: Manwal Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Manwal led by PSI Ayub Khan under the supervision of SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Devinder Singh laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK03D-7396.
During checking, police team rescued 14 bovine animals and seized the vehicle.
A case FIR Number 160/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
