Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, Mar 12: Manwal Police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 13 cattle. As per police sources, a team from Police Post Manwal led by PSI Mohammad Ayub during checking intercepted a Kashmir bound vehicle. During checking, police team rescued 13 bovine animals and seized the vehicle. A case under FIR Number 52/2022 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
The bovines smuggling bid was foiled under the supervision of SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Devinder Singh, SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
