Bovines smuggling bid foiled, 13 animals rescued

UDHAMPUR, Oct 7: Police today foiled two bovine smuggling bids under the jurisdiction of PS Rehambal and PS Ramnagar, in which 13 bovines were rescued which were being transported towards Kashmir valley.
Police party of PP Tikri led by PSI Satish Katil IC PP Tikri and assisted by Inspector Pushpinder Singh SHO Police Station Rehambal signalled to stop a truck bearing registration number JK14H-1991 for checking purpose.
On physical checking, police found 9 bovines loaded in the said vehicle without any valid permission.
In another case Police team of PS Ramnagar led by Inspector Sohan Singh SHO PS Ramnagar under the supervision of SDPO Ramnagar Vishal Manhas signalled to stop one load carrier bearing registration number JK14 J 1626 for checking purpose.
On checking police team found 4 bovines loaded in the said load carrier without any permission.
