RAMBAN, July 4: Chanderkote Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Chanderkote laid a naka and intercepted a Kashmir bound truck bearing registration number JK03C-2094.
During checking, police team rescued 34 bovines and seized the vehicle.
A case FIR Number 108/2022 under section 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Chanderkote and investigation started.
The rescue operation was conducted by SHO Chanderkote Inspector Padam Dev Singh under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
