JAMMU, Aug 6: Jhajjar Kotli Police foiled a bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar laid a naka at village Badsoo and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK14C-1221.
During checking, police team rescued two bovines animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Noor Qasim, son of Abdul Gani of Jindrah.
A case FIR Number 193/2022 under Sections 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act and 50/52/54/56 Transportation of Animals of Rules of 1978 Act has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
