Bovines smuggling bid foiled, 2 arrested

JAMMU, Apr 20: Miran Sahib police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 2 cattle and arresting two persons.
As per police sources, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station laid a naka at Simbal Morh and intercepted a load carrier bearing registration number JK02BS-4056.
During checking, police team rescued 2 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who were identified as Gurmukh Singh, son of Shamsher Singh of Gharana, Chakroi and Pawan Kumar, son of Bachan Lal of Dablehar, RS Pura.
A case under FIR Number 60/2020 under section 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Miran Sahib Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib SI Gurpal Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SP Headquarters Adil Hamid.
