Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, Dec 8: Bagh-e-Bahu police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing two cattle and arresting one person.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK02AS-8572.
During checking, police rescued two cattle from the vehicle and arrested a bovine smuggler, who has been identified as Salim, son of Akhtar Ali, a resident of Ragoora.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station and investigation started.
