Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, Dec 25: Jhajjar Kotli police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing four cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station laid a naka near Suketar and intercepted a Mahindra vehicle bearing registration number JK02BJ 5397.
During checking, police rescued four bovine animals from the vehicle and seized it, while the accused driver managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 123/17 under Section 188 RPC, 3/5 PCA Act, 119, 117 MV Act has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused driver.
