Bovines smuggling bid foiled

DODA, May 29: Dessa police foiled a bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 20 cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Dessa Police Station laid a naka at Chubuni Dhar Gali and intercepted a person identified as Mohammad Iqbal, son of Qasim Din, a resident of Panjani, Dessa, who was carrying flock of bovine animals.
During questioning, the person failed to give satisfactory reply and managed to escape from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness, while police rescued 20 cattle from the clutches of the accused.
A case under FIR Number 7/18 under Sections 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Dessa Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
Police team led by SHO Dessa Inspector Inderpal Singh foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
