Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, July 23: Jhajjar Kotli police under ‘Operation Kamdhenu’ foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 6 cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station laid a naka near Suketar and intercepted a Mahindra vehicle.
During checking, police rescued 6 cattle from the vehicle, while the accused driver managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 68/18 under Section 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Ajay Singh Chib made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Yashvir Slathia, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
