SAMBA, Dec 29: Ghagwal Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Ghagwal laid a naka at Tapyal and intercepted two Mahindra vehicles bearing registration numbers JK21B-6947 and JK08H-7466.
During checking, police team rescued 8 bovine animals from the vehicles and arrested two persons.
A case under FIR Number 137/2020 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Ghagwal and investigation started.
