KATHUA, Dec 30: Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
According to Additional SP Kathua Ramnish Gupta, during the intervening night of December 29 and 30, a team from Police Station Kathua laid a naka and intercepted a truck bearing Registration Number JK02H-5977.
During checking, police team rescued 14 bovine animals from the truck and seized it, Additional SP added.
A case under FIR Number 456/2020 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Kathua and investigation started.
