Bovines smuggling bids foiled

JAMMU, May 8: Ramban and Gharota police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 12 cattle.
As per police sources, a team from Ramban Police Station during checking at Kala Morh intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK19-0871.
During checking, police rescued 12 cattle were rescued from the truck, while the driver and owner of the cattle managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 63/18 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Ramban Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
Meanwhile, a team from Gharota Police Station intercepted a truck and during checking rescued 8 cattle from it.
However, the cattle smugglers managed to escape from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
A case under Sections 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Gharota Police Station and investigation started.
