Bovines smuggling bids foiled

JAMMU, Jan 1: Nagrota Police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh laid a naka and intercepted two vehicles bearing registration number JK19A-0380 and JK02W-9851.
During checking, police team rescued 9 bovine animals from the vehicles and arrested the drivers, who were identified as Shamus Din Loon, son of Rehmat Ullah Loon of Dooligam District Ramban and
Mohammad Rafiq, son of Abdul Rehman of Amar Chashma Patnitop District Ramban.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
The whole operation was conducted under the close supervision of SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
