Bovines smuggling bids foiled

JAMMU, Feb 8: Nagrota and Canal Road Police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per police sources, teams from Police Station Nagrota and Police Post Canal Road laid checking points in their respective areas and intercepted two vehicles bearing registration number JK02BW-5086 and JK14H-0513.
During checking, police team rescued 8 bovine animals and arrested two persons, who were identified as Murad Ali, son of Nek Alam of RS Pura District Jammu and Mohammad Ibrahim, son of Mohammad Qasam of Ukhral District Ramban.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Nagrota and Bhagwati Nagar and investigation started.
Police teams led by Incharge SHO Nagrota Inspector Ravi Kant and Incharge Police Post Canal Road PSI Ishfaq Ahmed Kasana foiled the bovines smuggling bids under the supervisions of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar and DySP Headquarters Swati Sharma.
