RAMBAN, Aug 23: Chanderkote and Ramban Police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per police sources, teams from Police Station Chanderkote led by SHO Inspector Padam Dev Singh and Police Station Ramban led by SHO Inspector Sandeep Charak under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Sen and SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma laid nakas in their respective jurisdictions and intercepted five different vehicles.
During checking, police teams rescued 110 bovine animals and seized all the five vehicles.
Cases under relevant sections have been registered at Police Stations Chanderkote and Ramban and investigation started.
