SAMBA, Jan 19: Mansar Police foiled bovines smuggling bid and arrested one person.
As per police sources, a team from Police Post Mansar laid a naka and intercepted a load carrier bearing registration number JK14H-4118.
During checking, police team rescued 3 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Gopal Sharma, son of Premu of District Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 11/2022 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
