SRINAGAR, Feb 6: A teenage boy was detained by police along Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector.
A police spokesman said that a 19 year old boy, Najam Saqib, son of Uzair Joo was apprehended soon after he reached Keran after crossing over the Line of Control via Kishan Ganga river dividing two parts of Kashmir.
“The youth’s family had migrated to other side of Kashmir in 1990,” he said
SSP Kupwara, Shamsheer Hussain said that the youth was detained soon after getting information.
“He is being presently questioned and we are trying to find out motives which led him to cross the LoC,” SSP said.
