JAMMU, Aug 27: A school boy was attacked with a wooden log by a peon of a tutorial in Akhnoor area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, today a boy namely Sahil Sharma son of Kailash Chander, resident of Ambaran (Partapkot), tehsil Akhnoor, lodged a written complainant against a peon namely Kaka of a tutorial at police station Akhnoor.
In his complaint, the boy alleged that yesterday afternoon at about 1230 hrs when he left for his tutorial from his school, the accused peon restrained his path near the tutorial and beat him with a wooden log and also threatened him of dire consequences.
The spokesman said on the written report of the complainant, a case FIR No 178/2017 under Sections 341/323/504/506 RPC has been registered at police station Akhnoor and investigations started.
