SRINAGAR, Apr 1: One Imran Ahmad Khan, 15, son of Abdul Rashid Khan of Phalmargh, Handwara, committed suicide by hanging himself at his home today. Police said the body was handed over his relatives after completing all legal formalities. Police said proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard.
Police said one Ghulam Mohammad Mir, 60, son of Mohammad Sultan resident of Wakherwon, Banderpora, Awantipora, consumed some poisonous substance today. He was shifted to District Hospital, Pulwama for treatment, where from he has been referred to SMHS, Srinagar for further treatment.
