JAMMU, Sept 8: Police today detained a mobile shop owner for making a porn MMS of a teenager school student in Akhnoor.
Police said Rimpu Sharma, who was running a mobile shop at Katra and was a resident of Akhnoor, has been detained at Akhnoor police station and was likely to be arrested as his involvement has surfaced in making porn MMS of a female students of a prominent educational institution.
The girl also hailed from Akhnoor.
The accused had passed on 20 minutes porn MMS to some of his colleagues. A complaint with Akhnoor police station was registered by father of the girl.
Police have registered a case FIR No. 206 under Section 376 RPC and 66E and 67A of Information Technology Act for further investigations.
Rimpu Sharma was being questioned to ascertain the facts.
An Akhnoor police team headed by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma was investigating the case.
