KATRA, Sept 23: A 14-yeal old pilgrim died due to cardiac arrest while on way to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine along with his family members, here today.
The deceased, identified as Nitin, son of Sohan Lal of village Bhanuli in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, suddenly fell unconscious near Inderprasth Adhkuwari. The family members immediately rushed him to dispensary of Adhkuwari where doctors, after medical examination, declared him as brought dead.
Dead body of boy was later shifted to CHC Katra for legal formalities.
Meanwhile, in a road accident at Kenthi in Arnas, driver of a Tata Mobile was injured when his vehicle rolled down in a deep gorge.
The vehicle, JK20-8413, was on way from Narlu to Kenthi when it met with the accident. The injured, identified as Subhash Singh (32), son of Chuni Lal of Panasa, was shifted to PHC Arnas for treatment.
