UDHAMPUR, June 26: A 15-year old boy accidentally fell in Laddan Power House Canal and drowned, here today.
The deceased, identified as Balwinder Singh, son of Diwan Singh of Kothwalla, was walking on the canal side when he accidentally slipped into the water and drowned around 3 p.m.
Despite hectic efforts of local, he could not be rescued. Later, body of the deceased was fished out from canal water in the evening.
