RAJOURI, May 24: A 17-year-old boy drowned in a nallah when he had gone for taking bath here this morning.
The incident took place at around 11.15 am. The boy identified as Mohd Aatish, son of Kabsubir, resident of Chandimarh in Poonch who was living here in a rented accommodation along with her elder sister in Ward No. 2 Rajouri went to take bath in the nearby Nallah. He slipped into the deep water and drowned.
Later, the people fished out his boy and informed police. The police has taken cognizance of the matter. Both brother and sister were studying here in the town.
