Boy killed, 9 hurt in mishaps

UDHAMPUR, Feb 26: A minor boy was killed while nine persons were injured in different road accidents in the district today.
According to reports a Mahindra vehicle hit a boy at Khoo Nallha about 19 km from Udhampur. Local People took the injured to District Hospital Udhampur, where doctors declared him died. He was identified as Aryan Singh (5) student of UKG of Bansi Memorial Academy Khoo Nallha and son of Sat Pal Singh of Chanunta
The accused driver namely Parshotam Kumar, son of Ram Chand of Rakh Kla Bilawar District Kathua was arrested and vehicle seized. Udhampur police registered case and started investigation.
In another accident Tata Mobile bearing Reg. No.JK14-5551 collide with a Jonga bearing Reg. No. JK14-0366 at Thard in Udhampur. Police rushed the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured persons were identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Vishwa Nath of Syal Udhampur, Sukh Ram, son of Ludri Ram of Dandyal Udhampur, Nek Ram, son of Ambo Ram of Joja Tlab, Udhampur.
Meanwhile in another road accident an Innova bearing Reg. No.HR45B-2500 hit a scooter bearing Reg. No.JK02M-1507 at Chopra Shop, Udhampur. Police took the injured persons to hospital. The injured are identified as Romesh Kumar (50) son of Paras Ram and his wife Gudi (40), son Mohit Sharma (12).
In another road accident a Motorcycle was hit by unknown vehicle at Dahar Road in Udhampur, Locals took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur, The injured are identified as Ashok Kumar (36), son of Om Prkash of Jaghnoo and Kunj Lal (45), son of Shanku of Jaghnoo.
Meanwhile, a Maruti Car bearing Reg. No. JK06-2977 which was on its way from Jammu to Badharwah was collides with a Car bearing Reg. No. JK14A-5584 at Tali Bari, Chenani. Locals took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur, She was identified as Supria Sharma (44) wife of Rajesh Sharma of Bhaderwah.
