Boy’s body fished out

SRINAGAR, July 5: Body of a 17-year old boy was fished out from Kadagam Dam in south Kashmir’s Shopian district this afternoon.
A police spokesman said the boy, Sameer Ahmad Teeli, son of Ghulam Qadir of Dagapora had drowned in the Dam while taking bath yesterday.
“After receiving this information, police along with the Marine Commandos (MARCOS) of Army immediately reached the spot and started the search. The body of the drowned boy was fished out today after the hard efforts of the joint team,” the spokesman added.
