JAMMU, Oct 18: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), India’s second largest OMC has recently acquired the status of “Maharatna” and has become country’s 8th Maharatna Company.
While the Corporation has been extending its business overseas in exploration and other energy sectors, J&K team of BPCL celebrated this mile on the occasion of Deepawali with its frontline soldiers.
About 50 frontline stakeholders of the company which comprised of best driveway delivery sales women and men and managers at Petrol Pumps in Jammu with the contractual staff of company were exposed to the various initiatives of the company. These initiatives of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, which are already very vigorously being pursued by the company included recently amended MDG of OMCs, cashless transactions, etc.
Each of the participants, on asking quiz of questions was rewarded with a surprise gift for each right answer. All the participants were later felicitated by attractive giveaways and a special appreciation with memento was presented to the women staff of the all Women Police Pariwar Petrol Pump.
Rajesh Sharma, Territory Manager (Retail) of BPCL stated that this kind of initiative is unique and this group of the frontline stakeholders is actually the face of the company. These staffers can become the role model and ambassadors of good practices in bringing the change in this sector with the changing times of technology, he added.
He further stated that his team in J&K is committed to the expectations of the customers and is available on 24×7 basis to meet the aspirations of motorists at its petrol pumps.
