JAMMU, June 15: Bharatgas Division of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) today organized a cooking cum safety event ‘Gaon ki Rasoi’ with theme ‘Svadisht Bhojan, Surakshit Jeevan’ in village-Sohanjana at Geeta Bharatgas.
The event witnessed participation of 16 people, mostly women while around 100 customers attended the meet organized at the same time. The central theme of the Meeting was ‘Safety in LPG Operations in a Fun Learning Way’. Customers were shown safety videos and Safety Quiz was also conducted.
The Event was adjudged by Rajinder Singh Chib (former minister), Chain Singh Manhas (Nambardar, Sohanjana), Ashok Bhagat and Suraj Prakash Sharma. Ranjan Nair (Head, LPG North), Mainak Mukherjee (State Head PSO), Sandeep Kumar Raina (TM LPG Jammu), Naveen Kumar (Manager Sales, Jammu) and many BPCL officers also joined the event.
Distributors Kulwant Singh and Sureshta Rani of Geeta Bharat gas organized the event in which Shiva Gas Jammu, Manhas Bharatgas and distributors across Jammu Kashmir/HP of Jammu LPG Territory participated.
The participants prepared traditional dishes of Jammu on Bharatgas and were awarded on their performance. The team comprising Preeti Devi and Laxmi Devi bagged 1st prize, Seema Devi and Sonam Devi got 2nd prize while the team consisting of Jyoti Devi and Poli won 3rd prize.
