JAMMU, Mar 20: Brahma Kumaris, J&K, today organized a spiritual programme at Jammu as well as Vijaypur in Samba district.
At Jammu, the programme was organized by Brahma Kumaris Rajayoga Meditation Center Jammu, here at Brahman Sabha Jammu, in which a large number of people from various parts of Jammu participated.
Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, was the chief guest while Ashwani Sharma (former MLA), Swami Kumar ji of Sri Krishna Aashram, Muthi and Sheela Handoo, Ex-Corporator, were the guests of honour.
In her preachings, BK Geeta from Mount Abu threw light on the fact how we can get peace and happiness by creating positive thoughts in our inner soul. She said peace and happiness can be activated through the Rajyoga Meditation.
In his speech, Rajyogi BK Suraj from Mount Abu gave tips for becoming healthy and overcoming problems. He suggested various methods including different asnas of Yoga to treat various types of diseases.
Swami Kumar ji appreciated the work of Brahma Kumaris all over the world particularly by the Rajyogi BK Suraj Bhai. He also felicitated Suraj Bhai by presented a Shawl, Bhagwat Geeta and some gifts.
The welcome address was presented by BK Sudarshan, Director of Brahma Kumaris, J&K while the programme concluded with vote of thanks by BK Rumal Bhai Ji.
At Vijaypur Rara in Samba district, the programme was organized by Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Rajayoga Meditation Centre Vijaypur under the guidance of B K Neeru Centre in charge Vijaypur.
Social activist and journalist Komal Singh chaired the function. B K Renu, B K Sheetal, B K Nagarmal, B K Gian, B K Bodh Raj, B K Sadhu Ram, Subedar (Retd) Shamsher Singh and Rara Gurdwara head Gianni Sardar Darbara Singh also spoke on the occasion.
While addressing the gathering attention was drawn towards inculcating spirituality in life which is the sole remedy for removing all psychological disorders like stress, anxiety and depression. To bring peace in the world we have to adopt universal brotherhood and one God and one family concept.
