JAMMU, Mar 1: Some Brahman Sabha members led by youth president Atul Sharma alongwith many youth today joined Apni Party in presence of senior leaders at Gandhi Nagar Party office today.
Senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir, former minister and senior leader, Dilawar Mir, general secretaries Vijay Bakaya and Vikram Malhotra, Provincial president, Jammu, Manjit Singh, State Coordinator OBC Madan Lal Chalotra, State Coordinator SC Bodh Raj Bhagat, Jammu Central Coordinator Pranav Shagotra, vice president Youth Wing J&K Raqeeq Ahmed Khan, Ex-MLA Bishnah Kamal Arora, Ex-MLA Faqir Nath among others participated.
Led by Atul Sharma, over a dozen youth namely Varun Sharma, Akash Sharma, Rocky, Sahil, Pritpal, Aru, Abhinandan, Ashok, Narinder, Parvesh, Vicky and others joined Apni Party in presence of senior leaders of the Party.
Welcoming them into the party folds, Ghulam Hassan Mir said, “Jammu people are joining Apni Party as they are impressed with the political ideology of the Party which is based on truth.” Mir said that the Apni Party promotes brotherhood and unity among the two regions.
“We are unlike other political parties who promote hatred to garner support to stay in power. We are not for power but want to take people on the right path of truthfulness. We do not exploit people with false promises and emotional slogans. We promise what is achievable,” he added.
He said that the party stands with the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. He demanded restoration of Statehood to J&K.
Former minister Dilawar Mir said that the Party will not allow anyone to create divisions among the two regions. “We have to bring together people of two regions and work for development in J&K. The unity will bring peace and prosperity,” said Dilawar Mir.
Ex-MLC Vijay Bakaya said that the youth have especially attracted to the party and its development centric policy.
Bakaya said that “Tourism sector should be strengthened in J&K to generate employment opportunities in J&K. The Govt of India has taken several steps under new industrial policy and the youth should avail the benefits of the schemes launched by the Govt.”
Speaking on the occasion Vikram Malhotra welcomed Atul Sharma and other youth into the Party and hoped that their joining will strengthen the Party.
