Brahman Sabha stresses for propagation of moral values, eradication narco-addiction

JAMMU, Jan 8: Brahman Sabha, Channi Himmat here today organised a meeting in which discussion for the smooth implementation of Sanskars (moral values) in the society was held.
The meeting started after the lighting of ceremonial lamp by V.P Sharma, president Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS), Dr. P.C Shastri, President Awardee, chief guest and Sunil Sharma, coordinator along with executive body members.
Speaking on the occasion president DBP Sabha stressed on the propagation of moral values among Brahmins, eradication of narcotic addiction, celebration of occasions like Parshuram Jayanti and maintaining the Dogra culture and heritage.
Office bearers of Sanatan Dharam Sabha, General Category Peoples Forum and other social organisations were also present in the meeting.
The chief guest stressed on giving due recognition to the Brahmins who have done a lot for the society and country.
Jagdish Dogra of S.D Sabha shared his views on the significance of Janau.
Sunil Sharma informed that database is being prepared by connecting the Brahmin families living in Channi Himmat.
“Brahmins in Channi Himmat area can become members of the Sabha by filling a form,” he maintained.
Proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Sanjeev Sharma and vote of thanks was given by Gopal Sharma.
