JAMMU, May 9: Jammu Kashmir Brahman Sabha today unveiled its logo in a function held here today.
The logo having image of Bhagwan Parshuram Ji and Parshuram Gayatri Mantra, was released by MLA Ramnagar, R S Pathania and Mahant Rohit Shastri, who were chief guest and guest of honour, respectively.
While speaking on the occasion, Pathania said that Bhagwan Parshuram’s teachings are of great importance for the entire humanity and for all the generations to come. He asked the people to take due pride in having the great gurus, saints and philosophers who have taught great values of virtue and righteousness with a universal appeal for the upliftment of whole mankind and whose teaching still prevails as a moral lesson in the society.
On the occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri appealed the Brahman community to remain united and to work for the preservation of their culture and moral values.
Atul Sharma, president, Jammu Kashmir Brahman Sabha, BJYM general secretary, Vikas Choudhary, Ram Pal Shastri and Deepak Shastri were also present.
