TIRUPATI, Feb 22 : On behalf of Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy, TTD Executive Officer J. Syamala Rao on Saturday presented silk vastrams to Srisailam temple on the occasion of Bhramaramba Sametha Mallikarjuna Swamy annual Brahmotsavam.
Speaking on the occasion, the TTD EO said that during the Sivaratri Brahmotsavam held in Srisailam, it is customary to present silk clothes on behalf of TTD.
Besides Vemulawada, Vastrams are being presented to Srikalahasti, Suruttupalli, Yaganti, Mahanandi also.
Meanwhile the annual fest which commenced on 19th February will be celebrated till 1st March.
Earlier, Srisailam Temple Executive Officer M.Srinivasa Rao and the priests welcomed the TTD EO.
Later, the temple authorities arranged darshan and presented Tirtha Prasadams.
