NASHIK, June 4: The Anti-Corruption Bureau has submitted a 2,000-page charge sheet in a local court against two PWD officials who were caught last year while allegedly accepting Rs 22,000 bribe from a contractor, ACB sources said today.
ACB officer Shilgram Patil submitted the charge sheet in the court yesterday against PWD executive engineer Satish Chikhlikar and branch engineer Jagdish Magan Wagh in the presence of both the accused, they said.

Chikhlikar and Wagh were caught red-handed on April 30, 2013, in Nashik by ACB sleuths while they were allegedly accepting Rs 22,000 bribe from a contractor to clear his due payments.
After nabbing the duo, the ACB had raided the residences of both the accused and seized illegal properties, cash and gold worth several crores.
During the investigation, the ACB unearthed assets worth about Rs 17 crore of Chikhlikar and around Rs 2 crore of Wagh. (PTI)
