JAMMU, Nov 18: A bridal make-up event showcasing contemporary and traditional bridal make-up styles was held at VLCC Centre, Gandhi Nagar. The one day event was conducted by VLCC team.
Sponsored by Fashion Arcade and Poshak Bridal Emporio, the event was organized keeping in mind the coming wedding season.
Elaborating on both styles of make-up, make-up expert said, “The contemporary look is more elegant with less jewellery . It’s more sophisticated and caters to those who want a modern look with very little visible make-up. The traditional is heavy make-up with lots of jewellery and make-up. Though both styles emphasize on enhanced eye-make-up, the traditional look is more elaborate compared to the contemporary look”.
The event focused on the different aspects of make-up which included techniques of eyebrow shaping, the right way to apply foundation and lipstick, techniques of shading, and creating the glowing bride look.
The VLCC expert also included corrective make up technique, skin care tips before makeup and after makeup in the workshop.
The VLCC center was done up to resemble a beautiful wedding venue, complete with flower decorations and other lush elements.
Speaking about the event one of the prospective brides said, “I feel more confident and I know how I want to look on my wedding day. The techniques I have seen today will help me add the finer touches to my bridal look”.
