JAMMU, May 10: A brief exchange of firing between security forces and terrorists was reported in Snehi forests of Surankote in Poonch district this afternoon where an IAF Warrior was martyred and five soldiers were injured in an ambush on May 4.
While no official statement was released by Army or police, the officials said security forces, who have launched massive search operations in Snehi forests and many other areas of Rajouri and Poonch districts, opened firing after observing suspicious movement.

However, there were no reports of any injuries.
Searches were in progress in several areas of Poonch and Rajouri to track down the terrorists involved in the attack at Snehi besides some others areas of the two districts previously.
