SRINAGAR, July 11: Brij Nath Betab’s two poetry collections were released at a seminar organised by Sahitya Akademy, here today by the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Cluster University Kashmir (CUK) Prof Qayyum Hussain.
A galaxy of scholars, writers and members of civil society were present on the occasion. The two poetic collections, one in English, is titled Harud, the Autumn and the other one in Kashmiri is titled Ae’lnaash, the nest ruin.
Those who graced the occasion, included Dr Shad Ramzan, Convener Kashmiri, Sahitya Akademy; Aseer Kishtwari, a well known writer from Jammu; Prof Shafi Shauq, former head department of Kashmiri, University of Kashmir; Dr Farooq Fayaz, former head of department History, University of Kashmir, Prof. Mohd Zaman Azarooda, former HoD Kashmiri, University of Kashmir and Dr Nazir Samnani, Principal Abdul Ahad Memorial College Srinagar.
