Bring Cong to power for better development: MLC

NOWSHERA, Dec 7: Congress candidate from Nowshera, Ravinder Sharma (MLC) has asked people to reject forces promoting communalism and separatist tendency in this sensitive State and bring Congress to majority for over all and equitable development and to strengthen the secular bonds in the State.
Addressing series of meetings in Nowshera, Thandapani, Balshama, Siot, Kangri, Khera, Lamberi, Dandesar and other places Mr Sharma said that certain forces for their political interests are promoting communal tendencies, which is dangerous for the peace and harmony in the State. He urged the people to reject such forces, which exploit and divide people on such issues and spread hatred among the people.
Mr Sharma appealed the people to support Congress party for over all development in the State and expressed hope that Congress will emerge victorious and form next Govt in the State.
He lashed out at BJP for betraying refugees by not accepting the proposal submitted by State Govt for their one time settlement. He also criticized the BJP for hobnobbing with separatist for election gains. He said BJP is not raising the issues promised by them to be fulfilled within 100 days of their Govt. He questioned the issues of Article 370 and Ram Mandir.
Mr Sharma also criticized Kashmir based political parties for raising emotional issues for votes by ignoring the broader interest of the State and the nation. He appealed the people to give decisive mandate to Congress party for good governance and equitable development in the State. He said that Congress party respects the aspirations of people of different sections of the society and strengthen the democracy at the grass root level.
