Bring stranded employees to Jammu: YAIKS

JAMMU, Apr 29: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) has made an appeal to J&K Government to bring the stranded PM package employees to Jammu from Kashmir Valley in view of the problems being faced by them due to the prolonged lockdown.
The YAIKS chief, R K Bhat in a statement issued here, today while expressing his satisfaction over the MHA decision to bring the stranded people outside to Jammu and Kashmir expressed the hope that Government will also bring the stranded package employees to Jammu to meet their parents who are perturbed for their welfare.
Bhat said these employees are facing a miserable situation in the camps in Valley as there is non availability of ration and other essential material for survival and due to lockdown they are unable to visit the market also to purchase the essential items of daily use for survival.
Keeping their plight in view he urged the LG to intervene into the matter and issue instructions to the authorities for bringing of the package employees from Valley to Jammu at an earliest. Besides he also demanded the engineering students of J&K trapped outside the UT mostly in Maharashtra and Karnataka states be also brought back to J&K.
