UDHAMPUR, Jan 6: Alleging that Rowndomail has fallen prey to political conspiracy from the beginning, former MLA and Panthers Party State president, Balwant Singh Mankotia said that the area must be brought under Udhampur Assembly constituency for its development.
“Even as Rowndomail falls near Udhampur constituency, the previous Governments linked it to the Chenani- Ghordi Assembly constituency, under a political conspiracy,” he said while addressing a public meeting at Chenani – Ghordi constituency, here today.
He announced that if Panthers Party comes in Government, it will be priority of the party to bring Rowndomail in the Udhampur Assembly constituency for its overall development.
Mankotia further said that people were giving their full support in JKNPP’s door to door campaign against drugs, traffic chaos and polluted water supply. He appealed locals to join them on Feb 1 to strengthen the campaign.
On the occasion, JKNPP secretary Dhani Ram Atri was also present. He said that Panthers Party was the only party which would do development of Chenani- Ghordi constituency. He appealed people to give their full support to the party.
Scores of youth joined Panthers Party on this occasion.
Others, present on the occasion, included general secretary Sukhdev Singh, Sr Leader Master Kuldeep, Jeet Kerni, Distt Youth president Jagdev Singh Jagga, Councillors Sunil Proach, Jagdish Kumar and Pawan Vipin.
