JAMMU: British Parliamentarian Bob Blackman today visited Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Secretariat.
He was accompanied by Surinder Ambardar, Member Legislative Council (MLC) and Laxmi Koul, Founder of Kashmiri Pandit Cultural Society London, an official spokesman said.
Secretary Legislative Council Abdul Majid briefed Blackman about the activities of the Council Secretariat.
Legislators, Muzaffar Ahmad Parray, Sham Lal Bhagat and Surinder Choudhary and other senior officers of the Council Secretariat were present on the occasion.
Blackman also briefed them about the functioning of the British Parliament, followed by a visit to the House and Central Hall of Legislature Complex.
He was impressed by the old and rare photographs of famous dignitaries of the country as well as of Jammu and Kashmir state displayed in the hall. (AGENCIES)
