BHADERWAH, Jan 4: Due to the tireless efforts of Border Roads Organization (BRO), the road in Bhaderwah was opened for vehicular movement, here today.
After the clearance of snow, a large number of tourists from the various parts of Jammu and Kashmir as well as from the other parts of country flocked the Bhaderwah town.
Having recently received three feet of snow, Guldanda is an enchanting spot for winter lovers.
Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and breathtaking landscapes, it has become a hub for those seeking peace, beauty and adventure.
Tourists have applauded the BRO for their remarkable efforts in clearing the road despite the challenging weather.
The influx of visitors is expected to boost local tourism and businesses, solidifying Bhaderwah’s reputation as a premier winter destination in Jammu and Kashmir.
Authorities are also working to maintain essential services, ensuring the safety and comfort of the increasing number of visitors.
Kanishka Gupta, a young tourist from Delhi said, “I’ve seen snow before, but Guldanda feels like a dream come true. The pure white snow, the beautiful mountains, and the peaceful environment make it an unforgettable experience.”
Another tourist from Kanpur, Kumar Gupta said, “It’s my first time experiencing snowfall, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place. The road to Guldanda was clear and safe, the valley itself is stunning and I’ll definitely come back with my family next year.”
Vansha Banwal, a tourist from Maharashtra said, “I’ve traveled to several hill stations, but Guldanda is on another level. The snow-covered meadows and mountains make this place magical. The locals are so welcoming and the efforts of the BRO to reopen the road are truly commendable.”
