BHADERWAH, June 28: Commander 35 BRTF Udhampur H Murty along with OC 114 RCC (GREF) Pramodh Kumar inaugurated Amiranagar Bridge completed at the cost of Rs 232.51 lakh near Domail in picturesque Bhaderwah valley.
After inaugurating the 24-meter-long Ameranagar Bridge, Commander said that with the construction of this bridge, traffic issues of the region will be resolved and this will also help in smooth passage of army convoys and vehicles of pilgrim tourists as well as continue local traffic.
The bridge was built before deadline, said Commander while crediting the 114 RCC (GREF)/35 BRTF (P) Beacon for its construction and overcoming several challenges like COVID-19 lockdown and shortage of labourers.
Local people who were present on the occasion appreciated the OC 114 RCC and his team for their hard efforts in completing the project before the deadline. They said that the bridge will become a game changer for traffic issues in the region.
Besides local people and outside visitors, this bridge will provide uninterrupted connectivity to armed forces in their counter insurgency operations.
