JAMMU, Nov 24: The people were left to face lot of problems after the board band service of the BSNL broke down in the morning in entire Talab Tillo, Bohri and other adjoining areas today.
Reports said that after an OFC cable got broken near the RRL today, the entire system got hit in the entire Talab Tillo, Bohri, Bharat Nagar, Poonch House and other areas affecting the internet connectivity to the VIPs and general public. It remained unattended during the whole day and the BSNL authorities failed to restore it even late in the evening. The ATM system also got snapped with the impact in the area and the people had to face lot of problems. A senior officer of the BSNL claimed that field staff was directed to identify the fault and rectify it.
