JAMMU, Apr 1: A younger brother killed his elder brother over some minor household issue.
According to a police spokesman, two real brothers namely Mohinder Kumar (50) and Rakesh Kumar, both living in a joint family here at Maheshpura, yesterday engaged in a scuffle over some minor household issue and in a fit of rage Rakesh hit Mohinder’s head with a piece of steel water pipe due to which the latter sustained serious injuries and fell unconscious.
“Mohinder was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries today at about 4.25 PM”, the spokesman said, adding the Bakshinagar police have registered a murder case in this connection and arrested the accused, while further investigations are underway.
