RAJOURI, May 20: A youth and his young sister were killed in a tragic car accident in Darhal area of district Rajouri this afternoon.
The deceased were identified as, 19-year-old Raja Anzar Hussain and his sister- Ruksana (21), both children of Kosar Hussain, residents of Nadiyan village, near Darhal.
Police sources said that mishap took place near Chityar village on Darhal -Rajouri Road at around 2 pm today. Raja and his sister, were moving towards Rajouri town on Maruti car No. JK-11-B/6821. Raja was driving car. He lost control on the vehicle and it landed into a deep gorge. Both of them were killed on the spot, the police said .
Later, their bodies were shifted to Darhal Hospital by police for post-mortem and conducting other legal formalities. The bodies were later handed over to the family for performing last rites.
Entire village and adjoining area was shell shocked over the tragic death of two young members of a family.
