POONCH, May 22: Police today arrested two brothers in connection with a case of chopping off the ears of a BSF Jawan few days back.
A police spokesperson told that Mohd Majid and Mohd Shafiq, both sons of Hakim Din and residents of Golad in Mendhar were today arrested by the police. They had chopped the ears of a BSF Jawan namely Nazir Hussain son of Mohd Aslam and resident of Golad, who was on leave, leading to his death.
The crime was done by the accused due to personal enemity, he said.
A case FIR No 62/2013 in this regard had already been registered. Both the accused have been booked under Sections 307, 323, 34 RPC.
